This design meets with the approval of The Bat Conservation Trust (UK). The grooved back gives easy access to a bat and the 17 to 18mm sized entrance slot in the floor of the box should mean that trespassers such as treecreepers and tits stay away!
Because the Bat Box was treated with salts, it has a slight greenish hue that will disappear over time.
